It would appear as if a severe case of paranoia has beset the ANC to the point that the ruling party is losing its mind. Yesterday, to the shock and disgust of the DA, the Provincial Legislature began installing CCTV cameras outside the door of the DA’s Legislature offices, aimed directly at monitoring the movements and access to our offices.

Amorous Police A Real Farce

Recent press reports stated that Ekurhuleni Metro police members were ‘making love’ while motorists’ lives were in jeopardy as they were stranded in flood waters . This deserves comment and I compliment Cllr. Taylor of the ANC and the unnamed CPF member for attempting to ascertain why help was not forthcoming from the police. This showed dedication and real councillor involvement.

DA DISMAYED AT GAUTENG ANC GOVERNMENT’S WASTE OF R4 MILLION ON WORLD CUP TICKETS!

Gauteng Democratic Alliance (DA) Spokesperson for Social Development and the Environment, Hendrika Kruger, expressed her dismay at the Gauteng Premier’s justification for wasting money on World Cup Soccer tickets for schools, orphanages, amateur sports clubs and special homes. Kruger said that despite the apparent good intentions involved in buying these tickets, this money would have been much better spent on urgently and desperately needed social projects.
