DA Limpopo Provincial Spokesperson on Basic Education

Today marks the last day in which the provincial department of education should have responded to an application by the Democratic Alliance in terms of Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) to have it furnish its policy on shredding of textbooks. This is after the DA found usable textbooks being shredded in Seshego few months ago. As a results , we will on Friday 7 September approach the South African Human Rights Commission to have this constitutional body compel the department to release this document. This document is important for the criminal case opened by the DA against the officials who authorised the destruction of books
