The telephone switchboard at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital is still broken despite promises that it would be fixed by the end of November.
The switchboard has been out of action for seven weeks since it was struck by lightning on 17 October.
It’s outrageous that hospital management has not ensured speedy repair of the switchboard.
People are finding it very difficult to enquire about the health of patients as the alternate number of 011 933 8953/4 has not been sufficiently publicised.
How much longer are people going to be inconvenienced in this matter?
