Skeen Primary School in Alex receives extra classrooms through DA activism

Skeen Primary School in Alexandra recently received two extra classrooms for its Grade R students due to continued activism by the Democratic Alliance (DA). Prior to this, the school was forced to convert staff rooms into classrooms due to the shortage of space.

The DA raised this issue with Gauteng Education MEC, Barbara Creecy, and we are happy to report that with the additional classroom space, the staff rooms are now being used as intended.

It is vital that both staff and learners are provided with facilities that are conducive to a productive learning environment. The DA will continue to work with Skeen Primary School and other schools in Alexandra to ensure that they receive the necessary support and equipment.
