James Masango MPL
Provincial Chairperson – Mpumalanga
Tomorrow will see South Africans celebrating the life and accomplishments of former president Nelson Mandela by donating 67 minutes of their time to perform charitable work.
Mpumalanga will be no different as DA public representatives, volunteers and activists in constituencies across the province will be giving 67 minutes of their time to needy communities and organisations in their areas. Each activity will also start or end with a prayer meeting for Madiba and his family in this time of his ill-health.
The DA believes that, through our activities tomorrow, we will re-live and rekindle the spirit of Tata Mandela’s legacy, to stand in selfless service of those who need it most, South Africa’s most vulnerable and poorest of the poor.
We believe that from Victor Khanye to Dr JS Moroka, to Steve Tshwete, Mkhondo and eMalahleni, and everywhere else, our activities tomorrow will remind people of the commitment the Father of our Nation had for the people of South Africa, and that together, we can make our country a better place for all who live in it.

All activities will be tweeted live to our @DA_Mpum Twitter account and posted to our Democratic Alliance Mpumalanga Facebook page, and we call on the people of Mpumalanga to join in the day’s activities, and tweet their activities and experiences as they happen.
