DA paints Mother Teresa home

In the spirit of making every day a Mandela Day, DA activists will paint the Mother Theresa Home in Yeoville, Johannesburg tomorrow (Saturday 20 July).

The home looks after 50 abandoned babies, as well as 62 adult women and 27 men who are destitute and have nowhere else to stay.

The paint and materials have been donated by a generous donor.

DA councillor Sipho Ndlela and local DA activists will start painting at 10am tomorrow. The home is situated at the corner of Bezuidenhout and St Georges street in Yeoville.

The DA is also calling for donations of mattresses at this home, as they are short in this area.
