The DA would like to welcome the appointment of former Mpumalanga Legislature Speaker, Mr William Lubisi as the Chairperson of the MTPA Interim Board.
Mr Lubisi comes with a vast set of skills and institutional knowledge. He served as the Speaker of the Mpumalanga Legislature for two terms and was also the MEC of Economic Development and Planning as well as an MEC of Health and Social Development.
The DA sees this as a step in the right direction and we hope that the Department and Government will let him lead the MTPA without political interference and that he will do so with the interest of tourism and conservation at heart.
