DA Provincial Spokesperson on Education
The DA is shocked and dismayed that matriculants will be de-registered and that nearly 17 000 learners will be forced to repeat their grades.
It is terrible that the schools shutdown has come to this.
It seems apparent that there isn’t a good working relationship between the Office of the Premier and the department of Education. On the same day that the Office of the Premier is happy to announce that schools will be re-opened, the department of Education says that learners will be forced to repeat their grades. What is stopping the provincial government from working together to provide a lasting solution to this problem?
