DA Mpumalanga to hold Provincial Congress

The Democratic Alliance Mpumalanga will hold its Provincial Congress on 7 March 2015 where the party’s new Provincial Leadership will be elected.

The party will emerge from the congress with a new Provincial Leader as current leader, Anthony Benadie MPL, will be stepping down as leader, having stood at the helm of the DA for seven years and eight months.

The congress is our biggest Provincial Congress to date and will be attended by 410 voting delegates who will elect the new leadership and take part in the robust debate on shaping the DA’s future.

The following Office Bearers will also be elected:

  • The Deputy Provincial Leader
  • The Provincial Chairperson
  • The Deputy Provincial Chairperson

Members of the media are invited to attend and extensive opportunities for photographs and interviews will be provided.
