By Nqaba Bhanga, MP, Ngqura constituency leader:
The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Nelson Mandela Bay today re-erected its Vision 2029 billboard in Motherwell after it was completely torn off its structure a few weeks ago. It was the only billboard in the vicinity to be vandalised.
The party recently launched a nationwide Vision 2029 campaign to inform South Africans of what our nation could achieve by 2029 with the DA at the centre of national government.
This billboard is a beacon of hope to the people of Motherwell and to the people of Nelson Mandela Bay metro.
We envision an ideal society where the colour of our skin does not determine our opportunities. Individuals have the right to political freedom and the DA will not be chased out of communities by acts of vandalism.
The DA will not let our opponents side-track our mission to bring good governance to the people of Nelson Mandela Bay.
We will continue our investigation to ensure those responsible for the vandalism are brought to book.
