By Jacques Smalle, DA Limpopo Leader:
Today the Democratic Alliance in Limpopo has welcomed scores of new members from the ANC, who served as ANC councillors and leaders of ANC structures in the Mogalakwena Area and Polokwane, along with hundreds of associated branch members.
During a media briefing in Polokwane today the DA handed over blue DA t-shirts and membership cards to five former ANC councillors, branch chairpersons, youth chairpersons, an ANC Women’s League chairperson, along with a traditional leader from Mokopane, and hundreds of ANC activists and branch members.
The new members come to the DA after having become disillusioned with Zuma’s ANC of today, and have identified the DA as their true political home.
The DA is a political home for all people, who ascribe to the values of freedom, fairness and opportunity.
The ANC in Limpopo continues to lose not only votes, but also senior members and leaders.
The DA marks today as an historic shift from the ANC’s uncaring governance of Limpopo, toward DA governance that will deliver and will improve the lives of all people.
